Welcome to my game art portfolio!

I've worked on a handful of games during my time in college and intend to continue.

Project: Grant Anon

Role: Team Manager, Programmer, and Artist

     This game was created for a capstone course. This game was created using unity.

​

Game Concept: A Real-Time Strategy (RTS) party game for 1-4 players. Each player plays as a college trying to obtain grant money. Money is gained over time (this increases the more resource buildings are built). With money the player can create more units. Units can be moved individually or as a group. Units will take damage over dangerous terrain. Grants spawn near the center of the map every 3 minutes or so. The goal is to capture three grants. Grants can be captured by waiting around them (about 10 seconds), but if enemy units are nearby, the grant will become contested. It cannot be captured until a single faction holds it.

Project: Steam Hunt

Role: Programmer and Artist

     This game was created for a game design class. It is a 2D platformer created in Java using a custom engine. (It was required create a custom game engine for the course. We used a team member's engine as it was the most capable.)

Game Concept: The player fights as a sole robot in a ruined future trying to save humanity. The goal is to reach the end of a series of levels and trigger an EMP (electro-magnetic pulse), that will disable all the enemy robots in the nearby area. In each level, enemies spawn and follow set patterns, firing when they see the player. Power-ups spawn in each level, restoring player health, increasing fire rate, etc. The player must navigate through each map (filled with platforms, impassable walls, and platforms that the player can fall through.

Project: Budding Flux

Role: Team Manager and Background Artist

     This game was created for a class. Regrettably, I don't have a demo available. It is a 2D platformer using Unity and the Corgi Engine.

Game Concept: The player controls the spring spirit, in charge of bringing spring to the world. In the wintry areas, the player slowly loses health, but will regain it when the player returns to neutral or spring time land. In order to progress, the player has to feed grouchy animals food. The contented animals would then act as jumping platforms to help the player progress. There were a set number of items that the player needed in order to solve the level. Once collected, the background would blossom from winter to spring.
